Ventoux, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceFrom 300m up the side of Mont Ventoux, this biodynamically grown cinsault, grenache, and syrah rosé leads with strawberry red fruit dusted in tarragon. It is over two years old, but remains fresh in the glass with plenty of citrus and dried herbs streaked with tangerine and spice. Lively and bone dry, it's at its apex. Pork dishes would be a good match here.Tasted: 16 March 2022Tasted by: Prices:
Ventoux, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceFrom Ventoux's limestone and clay soils around 300m, this pale pink rosé blends biodynamic cinsault, grenache, and syrah. This was fermented cool in stainless, where it rested for a short time on lees. Subtle and slick, with wild strawberries, tangerine, and Rainier cherry dusted with fine spices, all on a whisper-fine bed of lees. Light, bone dry, sophisticated, and ideal for an aperitif or canapés.Tasted: 17 June 2021Tasted by: Prices:
