Breedekloof, Breede River Valley, South AfricaFrom Breedekloof's deep alluvial soils, and gentle river bank slopes, this chenin was fermented in a mix of stainless and older French barrels (for the old vines), where it remained on lees until bottling. Bright and punchy, with passionfruit, grapefruit, peach, characteristic from the warmer, inland area and sandier soils. The finish is snappy and brisk with orange peel. Fun and ready to drink.
