Cathedral Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Western Cape, South AfricaThis old school SAF Cab will remind you of the burnt rubber / roasted root veg wines of the past. With fruit from Stellenbosch, Swartland, Darling, Voor-Paardeberg, Botrivier, Wellington, and Paarl, this is drenched in oak (a combo of 95% French / 5% American, and 35% new), imparting toast, roast, smoked meats onto the ripe cherry fruit. Tannins are sanded soft, and the finish is flushed with cedar and spice.
