Trerè Arlùs Albana 2019

Emilia-Romagna, ItalyArlùs, from the Roman dialect, translates as shimmer, or shine. This Albana comes from Compadrona Vineyard's silty soils, and vines near 40 years old. It was fermented and aged in stainless, with part of the lot harvested late, and including noble rot. This gives a honeyed richness to the dry, fuller palate, with ripe pear, white peach, acacia, toasted almonds at the fore through the spiced finish, lingering with anise. A softer, creamer and richer white to take on fuller fish or richer poultry dishes.Tasted: 02 May 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
