Hillside Rosé 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDeep pink in hue, this year's rosé blends a base of 65% merlot with saignée cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, syrah, gamay, and pinot noir. Only 4 hours skin contact (on partial grapes) imparted this deep colour. Strawberry jam, red apple, raspberry fill the off-dry palate, slicked with glycerol to a gently spiced, shorter finish.
