Haywire Chardonnay Secrest Mountain Vineyard 2019
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the organic Secrest Mountain Vineyard, this chardy was whole bunch pressed into concrete (a mix of nico velo and eggs), with a small proportion of hard press juice going into neutral puncheons, where all remained 10 months. The wood gives an extra level of creaminess to the concrete textured palate, bedding sour lemon, honey ale, bosc pear, pear blossoms.
