Fort Berens Pinot Gris 2020
British Columbia, CanadaFort Berens is patiently converting its labels, where possible, to all estate fruit or the new BC VQA Lillooet sub-GI. In 2020, an excellent but short vintage was a mix of 39% estate grown grapes, 8% from Winches Spur Vineyard in Lytton, and 53% from vineyards in West Kelowna. The style is dry and crisp, with more citrus and melon tones before the grapefruit kicks in. Clams and mussels are the matches.Tasted: 07 May 2021Tasted by: Prices:BC | $19.99 | 750ml | winery online/direct, select private retailers, grocery |
