Fort Berens Pinot Gris 2011
British Columbia, CanadaThe first Lillooet gris fruit appears in the 2011 and it is a good start. If anything the fruit is slightly over cooked offering rich pear and honey notes on the nose and palate. The mid-palate is a touch flabby but there are some citrus notes that helps freshen the finish. A solid start and would be a fine match to lighter seafood and or chicken dishes.Tasted: 08 July 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.00 | 750ml | vqa, private wine stores, winery direct |
