Fort Berens Pinot Gris 2015

Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaA blend of two regions is behind the Fort Berens pinot gris that mixes 78 percent of fruit from the home estate in Lillooet Estate Vineyard with 18 percent from Blind Creek Vineyard in the Similkameen. Some of the fruit was fermented in oak and some went through an acid softening malolactic fermentation. In a warm year like 2015 where the ripeness is off the charts the wine comes off a bit sweet with flavours of yellow and white fruits and along warm spicy finish. Best with spicy dishes that help temper the sweetness.Tasted: 30 September 2016Tasted by: Prices:
