Leaning Post Rosé 2020
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThis deeper pink hued rosé blends 70% pinot noir with 30% cabernet franc, overnight on skins, and then pressed to stainless for a cool ferment and rest until the following spring. Watermelon, green raspberry, light smoked stone and a swing of reduction open, offset by a bump of RS and a whack of acidity on a silken palate. A bit disjointed, this shows best with a brisk chill.
