Dirty Laundry Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe nose is a mix of fresh cherries and vanilla that leads you down the New World path. On the palate, it is relatively dry with a mix of crancherry and pomegranate with a spicy, savoury, scrubby desert finish. The winemaking is gentle, including turning the cap with forced air versus using the punch down method. Skin contact maxed out at 14 days before it was aged in French oak (25% new) for 13 months. I like the suggested match of mushroom pizza or seared duck breast. Drink or hold.Tasted: 23 April 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
