Quails' Gate Pinot Noir 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe nose is a mix of reductive notes with black cherry, black raspberry and spicy aromas. The Quails’ Gate pinot style is almost always medium to full-bodied. Still, while the flavour intensity has improved over the years, the alcohol has remained lowish at 13-13.5 percent, giving it a sense of elegance and concentration that can be rare in New World pinot. A wine best aged a few years to let it show off its impressive east-facing, volcanic site origins in the fully developed flavours of the wine. Best now with roast chicken.Tasted: 17 April 2021Tasted by: Prices:
