Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis rarely seen Touriga Nacional is planted in Osoyoos East Bench's loamy sands. This was destemmed and fermented warm in large stainless fermenters, with thrice daily pumpovers, before heading to 225L French barriques (20% new). Ripe and perfumed with fragrant rosemary, violets, bumbleberry, black plum, and ample cracked pepper on a succulent, sweeter palate. Tannins are ample, but well enveloped by the dense fruit.
