Louis Latour Chardonnay Bourgogne 2018
FranceThanks to their vast array of vineyards to choose from, the mega-negoc Louis Latour can easily piece together a very well knit and layered Bourgogne chardonnay from the region's clay and limestone soils. With an average vine age of 30 years, this was fermented in stainless with partial MLF, before aging there for 8-10 months. Creamy and lemon-led, with green apple, green pear, and lemon blossoms, to a gentle finish. Simple, classic, and identifiably Bourgogne, this is a great choice for the price.Tasted: 28 October 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $25.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
