Anthony Buchanan Wild Ferment Méthode Ancestrale 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis ancestrale method is a blend of organically farmed chardonnay, pinot gris, gamay from vineyards in Kaleden and Oliver. It was fermented in stainless, and spent four months on lees. This bottle was disgorged in February 2020. Bone dry, with sour lemon, melon, grapefruit, green apple tartness and a wash of ale on the finish, this is taut with tight acidity through the snappy end. An interesting effort, and a nice option if you are looking for a dry, light pét-nat.Tasted: 10 July 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
