Protea Chenin Blanc

Protea Chenin Blanc 2019

Western Cape, South AfricaProtea is South Africa's national flower, and this wine, and beautifully distinctive label, pays tribute to the beautiful bloom. These grapes come from Swartland and Voor-Paardeberg, and were whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless, where it remained on lees for 2 months. Crisp and bright with hedgerow, lime pulp, lemon blossom, and white peach, this charms with alternating darts of light lees and bright acidity, to a subtly spiced finish. Packaging bonus : this is sealed in an innovative twist off cork. Smart wine, smart packaging.Tasted: 04 June 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 14.49 BCLS Exclusive Producer: Anthonij RupertDistributors: The Wine Syndicate
