Feudi di San Gregorio Rubrato Aglianico

Feudi di San Gregorio Rubrato Aglianico 2012

Campania, ItalyYou can feel and taste the southern Italian heat in this ripe aglianico from Irpina. This was fermented and macerated in stainless over 2-3 weeks, before 10 months rest in stainless and 6 months in bottle, prior to release. Thick with dark chocolate, worn leather, baked black cherries, dried plums on a dense palate, with chewy, toothsome tannins to a lingering, dusky spiced finish. Ready for hearty braises and stews.Tasted: 15 June 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices: BC 33.00 private wine stores Producer: Feudi Di San GregorioDistributors: Stile Brands
