Campania, ItalyFrom the cellar. Worked old leather, sun-dried tomato, balsamic and dried plum line the palate of this aglianico, now seven years along. You can tell this wine was once powerful and towering, now greying and showing its age, with drying / sunbaked fruit turning clad with sticky tannins. drying quickly on the finish, leaving a warm cinnamon and star anise trail.
