Foradori Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco 2018

ItalyAs strikingly singular and memorable as the natural wine producer herself, manzoni bianco is a cross of riesling and pinot bianco. embodying both the citrus purity of riesling, and the perfumed orchard blossoms of the bianco. This is organically and biodynamically grown in the limestone / calcareous clay hills above Trento, and was native fermented on the skins in cement tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in acacia casks, concrete, and clay. Tight white fruit is scented with elderflower, meadow herbs, white grapefruit, lemon pith, along a shimmering, tight, energetic palate.Tasted: 02 May 2020Tasted by: Treve RingPrices: BC 40.00 private wine shops Producer: ForadoriDistributors: Sedimentary Wines
