Quails' Gate Rosé 2019
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA blend of gamay, pinot noir, and pinot meunier, each variety has four hours of skin contact before being pressed and fermented in stainless steel. The pale salmon hue is on trend, and so is the style. It's lean and restrained, clocking in at only 12% abv with grapefruit, crunchy red fruits, and a floral lift. Light and refreshing, it doesn't have to rely on residual sugar (it's technically dry at 2.3 g/L) to be approachable. At this price, I could easily see this becoming a summer go-to. Don't think too much; just lightly chill and enjoy.Tasted: 07 May 2020Tasted by: Prices:BC | $18.99 | 750ml | BCLS, winery online and select private retailers |
