Quails' Gate Rosé 2006
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMade from 100 per cent gamay grown on the Boucherie Bench that was soaked overnight to produce its pink colour. The nose is slightly dirty with reductive garlic aromas. The fruit is fresh and dry but the garlic/sulphur flavours penetrate the palate and sit on the fruit. Aerate well before serving. Disappointing.Tasted: 24 July 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $14.99 | 750ml | specialty listing |
