Quails' Gate Rosé 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFresh tight mineral, sweaty grapefruit, herbal nose. The entry is tight and fresh with a strong leafy citrus entry with bits of rhubarb, dried herbs and tangerine skin in the aftertaste. As is the norm at QG, the rosé is super crisp a touch green and dry waiting for summer foods to set it free. Crab would be ideal but so would chicken tuna and assorted summer salads.Tasted: 14 April 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
