Quails' Gate Gewürztraminer 2019
West Kelowna, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaClassic gewurztraminer from its rose petals and litchi fruit to its orange blossom and peach fuzz spicing. This year's QG Gew was partially destemmed and pressed with some skin contact, giving that light peachy hue to the glass. After a cold ferment in stainless, this spent a short while in stainless. Quails' Gate reins in the RS on their Gew now, thankfully, keeping this under 3 g/l, brisk on the finish, and quite drinkable.
