Quails' Gate Gewürztraminer 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWe like the leaner, fresher, lighter, (northern?) style of Okanagan gewürztraminer. The nose is bright and perfumed with orange blossoms, lime pith, soap and marmalade, with similar notes and litchi on a bright palate kissed with honeysuckle sweetness. The finish lingers with rose petals, a hum of spicing and a return to the floral soap perfume oft characteristic of the grape. A lovely, leaner (12.5 percent) style for Thai scented food this summer. Well done.Tasted: 07 June 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
