Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc 2018
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandA riot of summer fruit is how this wine is described, and I agree. The flagship sauvignon from Kevin Judd mixes nectarines, canteloupe, yellow peaches, and grapefruit with subtle passionfruit, all supported by a strong central lemon thread. The fruit comes off prime vineyard sites in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys, the central Wairau Plains, and a river terrace site in the upper Awatere Valley. Its complexity of vineyards and picking times is reflected in the wine. Stylish, and will be a big hit with Westcoast seafood dishes.Tasted: 01 April 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $30.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
