Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc 2010
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandAnother hit from Kevin Judd that rises above the usually aggressive Marlborough sauvignon crowd with finesse and sophistication. The entry is round and ripe with a creamy, mineral acidity that restrains itself. Love the ripe gooseberry and lime flavours flecked with honey and orange. Fine concentration and acidity mark its clean classy finish. The label Greywacke takes its name from the river stones in Judd's vineyard in Rapaura.Tasted: 06 July 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:AB | $27.00 | 750ml | fine wine stores |
