Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceClassic Côtes du Rhône, from its deeper golden hue, to its waxy, full body, the Parallèle Blanc, the estate's 'entry level' tier, remains an excellent choice for value, and typicity. Biodynamically farmed grenache blanc, marsanne, viognier, and bouboulenc averaging 20 years of age and from two family farms on the right side of the Rhone river make up this blend. The waxiness rules the palate, bedding honeysuckle, orange curd, lime peel, elderflower and ample baking spices, finishing cool, snappy and stony.
