Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the exceptional 2016 vintage, Violeta is 100 percent malbec from Van Westen’s Homelot Vineyard on the Naramata Bench. Yes, this has violets, but it also has wild dark fruits and a certain rustic charm. That said, if there’s an initial thought that this could be from Cahors, the silky palate certainly places this elsewhere.
