Van Westen Vineyards Violeta 2013

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCompared to previous vintages, the 2013 Violeta (malbec) is cleaner, with prominent blueberry/black pepper notes on the nose. The style is juicy with a touch of earth, and curiously like the 2012, reminiscent of a big, fruity zinfandel. Look for brambleberry/blueberry flavours and black pepper in the back end.
