Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThe ortega comes off two estates, one is the winery's in Comox, the other on the Saanich Peninsula. It was fermented and briefly aged in stainless, to preserve the crisp, delicate island fruit. Pretty lime, gooseberry, Asian pear, yellow apple is scented with apricot blossoms and a lick of anise on the medium-bodied, finishing snappy and bright — impressive length and flavours with just the right amount of dryness.
