Fleur Moelleux Bordeaux Blanc 2016

Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, FranceWhite Bordeaux can be a revelation at the top end, but so are the prices. Entre-Deux-Mers is a different proposition, often over-delivering for the price. Moelleux Blanc is a chateau-bottled semillon from this region set between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. Most of the area is red, but the 20 percent that is white can be a delightful find for many. The soils are high in lime and calcareous clay, and limestone is excellent for white grapes. The style is fruity, the attack soft and round with guava, honeysuckle, peach, and stone fruit. Ready to drink and perfect for spicy sushi rolls or Thai/Indian Chinese dishes. Serve well chilled.Tasted: 25 June 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
