Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis year's rosé is a big jump up / dryer / fresher than last year, with tight raspberry, strawberry, crunchy red apple, and baked rhubarb along a leesy, stony river bed base, so characteristic of its stony Similkameen site. There's a thread of lemon pith bracing this dry blend of estate merlot and syrah to a lingering stony finish. And a huge bonus - this early picked pink clocks in less than 2 degrees less alcohol than last year, at a very welcome 12.3 degrees.
