Quails' Gate Chenin Blanc

Quails' Gate Chenin Blanc 2018

West Kelowna, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA blend of 92 percent chenin blanc and 8 percent sauvignon blanc, this wine is fermented in 75 percent stainless steel and 25 percent oak barrels and puncheons. The nose is restrained, with a combination of fresh orchard fruit and subtle lees influence. The use of predominantly neutral oak means it is not evident on the nose, but instead provides a lovely creamy texture. Bone dry, this is a more serious style of Chenin Blanc with vibrant acidity and fine concentration, if not layers of complexity, for those that value balance and restraint over fruit.Tasted: 11 July 2019Tasted by: Prices: BC 23.99 winery direct AB 19.99 SK 23.79 MB 18.99 Banville & Jones ON 23.00 consignment - Hobbs QC 20.05 SAQ NS 23.00 PEI 23.19 NB 23.99 NBLiquor NF 23.00 YK 21.05 Producer: Quails' Gate Vineyards Estate WineryDistributors: Appellation Wine Marketing
