Quails' Gate Chenin Blanc 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaVery sweaty grapefruit rind nose with some green apple, honey, pear skin notes and a touch of matchstick. Fresh, crisp, juicy, somewhat tart palate with big soapy grapefruit rind, apple skin, bitter green, and nettle flavours. Finish is just too rindy and bitter and more reminiscent of sauvignon.Tasted: 24 June 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
