Moraine Riesling 2018
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis wine has been consistently delicious, and 2018 is likely the best yet. It is all Naramata Bench fruit, of which some 50 percent is estate grown clone 49. It’s gently whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in a series of batches that span a couple of months – all under 13C. The result, much like last year, is very juicy, with big citrus, apples, and excellent tension balancing the fruit and acidity perfectly. Best with your favourite curry, or spicy sushi roll.
