Quails' Gate Chardonnay

Quails' Gate Chardonnay 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaQuails' Gate is really cementing itself as a chardonnay player, with three different chardys released this year. This, the entry level, is from a mix of estate grown French clones, in mostly stainless steel, with a small portion in French oak. Soft and welcoming, with baked yellow apple and spiced pear on the creamy, lemony palate. The finish is vanilla kissed and warming, encouraging pairing with lobster risotto or corn chowder. Friendly and approachable now.Tasted: 22 March 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices: BC 26.44 BCLS, private wine shops, winery direct AB 24.99 private wine shops SK 24.99 SaskLiquor ON 24.95 LCBO NS 23.00 MB 25.98 Manitoba's Liquor Marts Online NB 24.99 NBLiquor QC 23.50 SAQ NL 24.98 NLLC PE 24.99 PLCC YK 24.90 YLC Producer: Quails' Gate Vineyards Estate WineryDistributors: Appellation Wine Marketing
