Quails' Gate Chardonnay 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA blend of French clones including 95, 96, 277 and 809 sourced from several sites in and out of the estate brings complexity to what is essentially a friendly bottle of delicious chardonnay. The oak is beautifully handled, so much so it’s hard to believe 50% of the blend is barrel fermented. Look for refreshing melon and ripe apple flavours flecked with sweet tangerine notes and a clean refreshing finish. The winery restaurant recommends pairing it with Chanterelle mushrooms and salmon, lemon roasted chicken or Camembert cheese. Real value here.Tasted: 02 December 2015Tasted by: Prices:
