Blue Mountain Gamay Noir 2017

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSimilar to the 2016, with soft, smoked raspberry and soupy forest berries on an amply juicy palate, one that finishes with a shake of dusty cinnamon and tightening swig of tobacco and bitter cherry. 10-28 year old estate gamay, across three clones, spent three weeks macerating and was native fermented, before one year in 225 and 500L French oak. There’s a space on the mid that I also noted in the previous vintage, which may be filled with food. I prefer this with a brisk chill now.Tasted: 01 March 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
