Blue Mountain Gamay Noir 2009

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFloral, cedar, vanilla, tobacco, meaty, peppery, black cherry, mocha aromas. Fresh, dry, slightly chunky palate with fresh acidity and some light astringency. Black cherry, vanilla, chocolate, rooty, tobacco, peppery, cedar flavours. The finish needs some taming with food. Duck confit would be a good match.Tasted: 26 March 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
