Narrative Riesling 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaYou wouldn't expect a bright, tight, low alcohol riesling to come from the warm southern Okanagan, but winemaker Matt Dumayne picked this Osoyoos riesling very early, which is evident in its slight 10.5 degrees. It's native fermented in stainless steel and aged eight months in concrete eggs prior to bottling. Light, subtle green apple, pear, orange rind, tight and nervy on the very light palate. There's a watery mid prior to the snappy orange finish. Fun, bright, dry, light, and surprising that this wee white came from the deep south.Tasted: 25 January 2019Tasted by: Prices:
