Moon Curser Petit Verdot 2016

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWild blackberries, blueberries, dark cherry, thorns, purple florals are veined with stones in this alluring, fleshy petit verdot, grown on their Osoyoos East Bench Moon Curser Vineyard and its loamy sand, silica and granite. There's a dark gravelled undercurrent that flows the length of this big red. Tannins are firm and structural, appropriately matched to the density of fruit. Drinking well now with food, though will reward with cellaring short term. This was destemmed and uncrushed, with a warm ferment in large stainless steel, pumped over three times daily. This then went into French oak, one quarter new.Tasted: 29 November 2018Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
