Moon Curser Petit Verdot 2012

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAmple and potent aromas of violets, black pepper and tar open this structured petit verdot, a rare solo appearance from the Okanagan. Inky cassis, bitter cherry, resinous and branch dominate the tannic, rustic palate. There is some acidity trying to poke through, but the force of the tannic grape overwhelms at this point. Mitigate now with a sauced flank steak, or lay down for a couple of years to soften and integrate.Tasted: 11 August 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
