Tantalus Juveniles Chardonnay 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaYou need deep pockets to create wines made from young vines because it takes as much work or more to make them and while they may have purity of flavour, complexity doesn’t come easy. At Tantalus the juveniles or youngest blocks of vines go into this wine. The palate is full of bright acidity and soft creamy lemon verbena flavours with a leesy, crushed oats undercurrent. As impressive as last year, and with vines a mere six- years-old, we can expect much more to come from this site. Chill this one down for best results now or serve with simply prepared seafood dishes.Tasted: 05 July 2018Tasted by: Prices:
