Spearhead Riesling 2017
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaResinous, lime rind, stony, green apple aromas open this tight, severe styled riesling, sourced from The Rise Vineyard in Vernon, as well as Gentleman Farmer Vineyard in south east Kelowna. The attack is juicy but a touch rustic, with the crisp, dry palate of peachy orchard fruit and grassy, soapy notes in the finish. This still holds 8 g/l RS. Fun, and ready to drink but simple.
