Bartier Bros. Chardonnay Cerqueira Vineyard 2017
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Bartier Bros' prized Cerqueira Vineyard, north of Oliver, the 2017 chardy is super ripe with lemon curd, white peach, almonds, lemon thistle on a round, cushy palate. There's a bright and fresh minerality that lifts this, most certainly transmitting from the calcareous-laced soils of the vineyard. I would love to see this tighter, leaner and sharper in the future.
