Tantalus Riesling 2017
East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTantalus makes two table wine rieslings annually: this, the juicy younger, lip-smaking and imminently likable riesling sourced from a variety of estate blocks, and the Old Vines Riesling, which is a more savoury, serious, structural model. This is off-dry and jubilantly so, with lime pulp, pear pulp, apricot on a seriously quenching, medium bodied palate. Acidity is electric, and able to easy carry the 16.5 g/L RS. Lovely, expressive, energetic riesling for drinking now or over the short term.
