Rodney Strong Chardonnay 2016
Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe regular Sonoma chardonnay is 60 percent barrel fermented and aged for six months in 50/50 French and America oak; the rest is fermented in stainless steel. The style is getting fresher, but the ripe fruit and leesy buttery tones suggest malolactic. Texture remains a focus even at this level. The fruit is a mix of ripe peach and red apple with tropical, pineapple notes. Pleasant sipping, Sonoma-style chardonnay. Try this with a chicken salad.Tasted: 06 February 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $22.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
