Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe RS Chardonnay is 69 percent barrel fermented and aged for six months in 50/50 French and American oak, with 10 percent new wood. The winemaking team continues to gently tighten up the style using fruit from the cooler, coastal locations outside of Sonoma County, hence the California AVA designation in 2018. Fresh citrus, red apple present with lees and tropical notes.
