Lake Sonoma Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Sonoma County, California, United StatesEverything came together in 2014 across Sonoma allowing late ripening varieties like cabernet sauvignon to really shine. Look for fully ripe, black fruit with flecks of cassis and cedar and dusting of milk chocolate that remains in check thanks to a savoury component. The Sonoma County style is always a bit more linear and to me more attractive versus the richer more hedonistic Alexander fruit and that is the case in 2014. The finish is dry with just a hint of spice. The tannins are soft and you can drink this now with no issues especially with grilled meats. Excellent value.Tasted: 02 March 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $27.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
