Serralunga, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyI am a huge fan of this affordable Barolo that has put the past behind it. Medium light and brick red in colour, this wine is graceful and nuanced in the Barolo way. Leather, cherries, forest floor with classic bitter notes, tannins and minerality. Stylish already but you can age this a decade. Beef tartare is a classic match.
